Rose is depiction of alarming increase in pollution by chemicals. A lagoon in Argentina that has turned bright pink due to usage of sodium sulphite in fish factories to preserve prawns for export. The dumping of chemicals in Chubut river which feeds the Corfo lagoon and other water sources in the region has created foul smell. As per law the waste should be taken to treatment plant.
